The quilt on the left is a blue and white Alex Anderson design. Hand embroidered, machine pieced and quilted. A fun fact: At the Houston International Quilt Festival in November of 2019, the 40th anniversary, a blue saphire year, there was a display of blue and white quilts from through the years. Jo made sure to have a photo of this quilt design of Alex with her and showed Alex the picture, saying she was a part of the 40th celebration! She was touched.
